POOL RULES

 

  1. The pool hours are from 9:00am – 10:00pm daily. 

  2. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.  Please keep a close eye on your children and guests at all times.

  3. Proper swim wear is required (no “Cut-offs” allowed).  Babies and toddlers (children in diapers) must wear swim diapers.  Please consider if your child needs a swim diaper.  As a courtesy to others, please take soiled diapers with you when you leave the pool area.

  4. WARNING – WATER IN THE POOL IS SHALLOW.  No diving, somersaults, cannon balls, can openers, or similar type entries from the edge of the pool are permitted.

  5. No swimming if there is lightning or thunder. 

  6. Persons with skin abrasions, open blisters, cuts, skin disease or communicable diseases shall NOT enter the pool.

  7. Please use trash containers for your trash.  Please pick up trash before you leave.  Larger trash items such as pizza boxes should be taken home with you.  This ensures that the pool area stays clean and enjoyable for everyone.

  8. No glass containers of any type are allowed in the pool area.

  9. No alcohol is allowed in the pool area.

  10. No furniture or chairs are allowed to be placed within the pool itself. No jumping or standing on pool furniture.

  11. No bikes, skateboards  or roller skates/blades are permitted in the pool area.  Children’s strollers are permitted.

  12. Use of floating tubes, water guns, rafts and other toys must not interfere with the use of the pool by others.  No powered toys are permitted.

  13. Keep safety equipment in its place.  Life rings and shepherd crooks may NOT be used as toys at any time.

  14. No grilling, barbecuing or open flame at anytime within the WOTPOA common areas.

POOL ADMISSION

 

  1. The pool is for the exclusive use of White Oak Trails residents, tenants and their invited guests.  A member resident must accompany guests at all times.

  2. Children under 12 years of age are not permitted in the pool area unless accompanied at ALL times by a parent or adult guardian. 

  3. Residents or tenants in GOOD STANDING, upon signing the WOTPOA common area rules, will receive an electronic key which will allow access into the pool area.  All residents who have not paid their WOTPOA dues or are not in good standing with the POA will not receive a key or the resident’s or tenant's key will be deactivated.

  4. KEEP GATES CLOSED AT ALL TIMES (do not prop open).  Do not let others into the pool area.

  5. If your electronic key is either lost, destroyed or damaged, the POA will provide you a new key for $25.  Only one key will be provided to each resident or tenant household.

  6. Tenants who are renting their home from a POA Member must complete a Tenant Registration form.  The Tenant Registration must then be approved in writing by the POA Member (Property Owner) before a key is issued to the tenant.

  7. Each property owner resident or tenant household in good standing will be allowed to bring up to a total of 4 guests.  Guests will not be admitted unless they are accompanied by a resident.

  8. Residents or tenants can be denied use of WOTPOA's facilities if they are no longer in good standing (i.e., if association fees or fees are past due).

  9. The WOTPOA may deny access to the pool at any time due to occupancy limits, weather, pool condition or if maintenance is required.
